YO! Ho Ho! | Christmas

JFC (Japanese Fried Chicken)

Over 3.6 million people in Japan eat fried chicken every Christmas. This year, YO! is bringing that tradition to the UK as we launch JFC (Japanese Fried Chicken).

The Christmas sandwich is a staple during the festive season, with 100 million Christmas sandwiches eaten between Christmas and New Year in the UK.

Traditionally made up of turkey trimmings and leftovers from a Christmas meal, we’ve re-created this classic lunchtime snack with a Japanese-inspired version using JFC chicken, Asian slaw and other delicious fillings.

What’s in it?

JFC Christmas Sando

Crispy-fried katsu chicken breast, miso drenched hash brown, spring onion and crunchy slaw smothered in YO! mayo are layered in thick slices of white bread.  This mammoth festive sandwich is skewered with a karaage popcorn chicken nugget and dished up with a pot of katsu curry sauce on the side for dipping, pouring and, let’s be honest, drinking.

Coke Floats

Nothing says Christmas like Coca-Cola’s iconic red truck, delivering festive cheer to towns and cities as it tours the nation. The Coke float was originally created to encourage people to drink the carbonated soft drink from a glass instead of a bottle and has since then become staple for festive indulgence. We have gone all out this holiday season with two Coke floats which are jam-packed with tasty treats. Which one will YO! choose?
