Underwater Wonderland

We’re delighted to unveil our summer installation for 2022, transforming our Atrium and Old Town Street entrance into a vibrant underwater spectacle.

This year’s multi-coloured display is made from eight jellyfish and 11 ‘Wrasse’ sculptures, as well as a canopy of blue, green and purple bunting, and our giant deckchair providing the perfect photo opportunity for visitors!

The ocean-inspired installation, chosen to celebrate Plymouth Sound becoming the UK’s first National Marine Park, has been designed with sustainability in mind, with materials made from either biodegradable, recyclable or sustainable sources.

We’re also partnering with local community businesses across the summer, to host a range of interactive marine-themed and sustainable workshops and activities at the Centre. If you’re a local business that would like to get involved visit our Charity and Community information page.

The display will be live throughout the summer until September and we’d love to see your photos! Be sure to tag us @DrakeCircus on Facebook and Instagram and use the hashtag #seasthedayatDC.
