Creating a buzz this summer!

Get ready to buzz with excitement! This summer, Drake Circus is bursting into bloom with a colourful new installation celebrating Plymouth’s pollinators.

We’ve teamed up with local biodiversity experts Pollenize  to shine a spotlight on the bees, butterflies and bugs that help our community – and our planet – thrive. From a glittering ‘hive’ in our atrium to vibrant nature-themed displays, wildlife has taken over Drake Circus in the best possible way!

Dive deeper with our specially designed educational trail, where interactive QR codes reveal fascinating facts about pollinators, their vital role in biodiversity and food security, and simple ways you can support at home.

Pollenize is a Plymouth-based organisation dedicated to addressing environmental challenges, including monitoring and improving biodiversity though academic partnerships, innovation and AI, enabling insects to recover and ecosystems to thrive.
