The Big Beauty Looks for Autumn/Winter 2025
Good skincare in winter can make all the difference; go for hyaluronic acid-plumping Byoma, The Ordinary and newly arrived Korean brand haruharu wonder and invest in Laneige’s bestselling Lip Sleeping Mask, Boots’ own lip masks and Starface Star Balm to keep chapped lips at bay. Supplements are also having a moment: Vitamin D and C are crucial to keep you feeling good while magnesium glycinate and Habi gummies can help boost rest in the darker months.
In terms of the big beauty trends, berry and burgundy are everywhere for lips, lashes and eyes (try Morphe, Summer Fridays and No 7) complemented by satin skin and pink-toned highlighter from Pixi and NYX. Chocolate brown mascara is also having a moment (try Too Faced’s version).
The food trend is also coming for scents with Sol De Janeiro’s Cheirosa 71 Perfume Mist and Kayali Lovefest Burning Cherry 48. For nails, subtle pinks and dark shades give a sophisticated and vampy finish to your autumn/winter look.

The defining hair looks for the season
Natural hair, the tousled varsity bob and food-inspired washes (black cherry and cinnamon) are all go-to looks for this season. Invest in protective and nourishing hair products, shampoo and masks from OUAI, Kerastase and Dizziak to see you through the colder months. For accessories, claw slides, fun clips and Gossip Girl-era hairbands remain statement buys.
