We have a number of accessible toilets at Drake Circus, which can be found in the following locations:

• First Floor – two accessible toilets (no radar key required) which are both fitted with handrails
• First Floor – a Changing Places facility which is fitted with a height adjustable changing bench and hoist, as well as toilet facilities with handrails
• Lower Mall (main toilets, between No. 1 Currency and Bubble CiTea) – two accessible toilets (no radar key required) which are both fitted with handrails
• Lower Mall (next to Krispy Kreme, opposite M&S main entrance) – one accessible toilet (no radar key required) which is fitted with handrails

All our accessible facilities have signs to highlight that not all disabilities are visible.

Amazon collection lockers are located within the Next store.

ATMs are located on the Lower Mall and on the First Floor at the entrance to the car park – applies to Drake Circus only.

If you are cycling to Drake Circus, there are bike racks available on Cornwall Street outside the M&S Foodcourt entrance. There are also bike racks available at Level -2 of The Barcode in the lift lobby.

There are 1,270 parking spaces including bays for disabled drivers and parents with children situated on Levels 1, 2 and 3. There is a 2m height restriction for the car park. Please note that disabled spaces are for blue badge holders only and you must display your valid badge, and disabled parking is chargeable.

Overnight rate: customers can park for £7.00 if arriving after 17:00 and leaving before 10:00 the following morning.

We are proud that our car park has been issued the Park Mark, an award given by the Police for achieving the standards of the Safer Parking Scheme, designed to reduce crime in car parks.

The nearest car parks for accessible vehicles over 2m are St Andrew St/Whimple Street, Guildhall and North Hill.

Drake Circus does not offer a gift card. Many of our stores and restaurants offer their own gift cards, please check with the individual retailer.

Our Changing Places facility is located on the First Floor and access is via a radar key. If you do not have your own with you, please speak to a member of our team, who will be happy to help.

The facilities are open from 8.30am to 6.30pm Monday to Friday, 8.30am – 8pm Thursday and 10am – 5pm Sunday. They include:

• Changing bench – adult sized and height adjustable
• Hoist – ceiling hoist design to be used with loop attachment slings.
• Toilet – the toilet has room either side for carers to support
• Sink
• Chair
• Handrails

Drake Circus and The Barcode offer step-free access and easy-to-use lift facilities to all levels.

Mall seating is available to use throughout the centre.

Drake Circus runs a monthly sensory shopping event on the first Saturday of every month between 9am – 10am where lights are dimmed and music is turned off wherever possible.

Accessible Shopping Support – Important Update

We’ve temporarily closed our Shopmobility facility while we work to improve the service for you. We’re working to reopen as quickly as possible and will update this page as soon as we have a confirmed date.

Alternative Support Available Now

In the meantime, Access Plymouth offers a mobility equipment service close to Drake Circus at Mayflower East Car Park, Mayflower St. Their scooters and wheelchairs can be used throughout the centre and wider Plymouth area.

How it works:

• First-time users need to register (free) and complete a short assessment – this ensures you get equipment that’s comfortable and safe for you
• Book your first assessment by calling 01752 600633
• Once registered, you can use the service whenever you need it

We understand this requires more planning than our previous walk-in service, and we appreciate your patience while we make improvements.

There are more than 400 car park spaces and six electric car charging points located within The Barcode car park.
