4. A coastal craft beer delight
One for the coastal craft beer lovers, head to BrewDog at The Barcode for a hop-haven fit for all. With multiple taps pouring a whole host of draught beers and ciders, as well as a selection of bottles and cans, it’s the perfect spot to meet up with your mates.
Enjoy a drink alongside a mouth-watering menu of burgers, wings, salads and fries… and if you’re looking to be extra indulgent, there’s a dessert menu including deep fried oreos.
5. Grab a friend and shop your new wardrobe
It’s finally time to enjoy shopping in real life again! With a whole host of shops at Drake Circus – from Accessorize, Monsoon, Footasylum, H&M and New Look to M&S, Next, River Island, Paperchase and Sunglass Hut – enjoy some evening retail therapy on Thursdays and stock up on essentials for the new season.
Why not make a trip out of it and bring your best friend along? They can help you pick the perfect outfit, encourage you to try on new styles and after the shopping is done, you can grab a bite to eat at one of Drake Circus’ restaurants.
6. Enjoy a movie
If you’ve missed cinema mate-dates (or even date-dates), head to Cineworld Drake Circus to catch the latest movies. After a long day at work, a cinema trip offers the perfect opportunity to just sit back, relax and enjoy a movie on the big screen.
With 14 state-of-the-art screens including IMAX, the world’s most immersive cinema experience, and 4DX, Cineworld’s most exhilarating way to watch a film, there are plenty of options.
It’s best to plan ahead. Check out the latest cinema listings and book tickets in advance to avoid disappointment.
7. Get adventurous at Paradise Island
If you’re looking for a fun way to reconnect with friends and family, then ‘swing’ by Paradise Island Adventure Golf at The Barcode and have a go at its two 18-hole Adventure Golf courses for an adventure you won’t forget.
One of the many fun things to do in Plymouth, you can take on the twists, turns, humps and bumps as you explore the treacherous swamps and if you’re feeling like a pro, take on their 19th hole where the perfect hole-in-one could win you a free game.
Adventure Golf is thirsty work, so choose from a selection of thirst-quenching soft-drinks, beers, ciders, wines and spirits to make it the ultimate night out.
