Plymouth Retail Ltd, a company wholly owned by British Land plc, is proposing to enhance Old Town Street through the sensitive improvement of Norwich Union House and the creation of new retail pavilions. The scheme is being developed within the wider public realm improvements to Old Town Street and New George Street being proposed by Plymouth City Council.
The proposals have been developed in collaboration with Plymouth City Council as part of the Better Places Plymouth project, realising a rare opportunity to comprehensively enhance this significant area of the city centre and contribute to the city’s vitality.
Local residents, businesses and stakeholders are invited to attend the public exhibition to find out more about the proposals, ask questions and provide feedback prior to the submission of a planning application.
The exhibition will take place in Drake Circus Shopping Centre, Eastlake Street entrance outside Bill’s, Plymouth, PL1 1EA.
