Drake Circus X Plymouth Hospitals Charity

This summer, we’re partnering with Plymouth Hospitals Charity to support fundraising for the Derriford Children’s Wards (DCW) campaign.

Throughout July and August, visitors to Drake Circus can make a £2 donation via the contactless donation point in our Atrium event space (below the cloud and rainbow canopy!) with all funds going to support the vital work the team do in our community.

From 7 days to 18 years, DCW want to help all children and young people feel safe, cared for and as happy as can be.

Each day, young people need the hospital’s help, it can be a quick visit, a short stay or it can be weeks or months of treatment. For some young people, with more complex difficulties, this means visiting DCW for a long time and the ward becomes a huge part of their lives.

Donations help buy new equipment or toys and sometimes, when a child is in hospital for a very long time, donations are used to support families who are finding things difficult.
