Drake Circus has teamed up with Severnside Recycling to provide a recycling service for customers wishing to put their old Christmas cards to good use.
The team hopes to encourage customers to recycle over one tonne of cards, and the money raised from the sale of unwanted cards to the recycling company will be donated to St. Luke's Hospice.
Collecting bins will appear in the Drake Circus mall next to Calendar Club and in the management suite, and at St. Luke's Hospice, from Christmas Eve.
Rachel Stephens, marketing assistant, commented: "With green issues very much at the forefront of the news at the moment, we really hope that people will bring a bag of unwanted Christmas cards with them when they come to shop and pop them in the recycling bins. Not only will they be helping to save the planet, but they will also be helping us make a healthy contribution to St. Luke's Hospice."
