FALKLANDS veteran turned children's author will be in the city this weekend to sign copies of his latest book.
Simon Weston OBE became internationally famous for his recovery from severe burns suffered in the bombing of RFA Sir Galahad in the Falklands War.
The former soldier has since teamed up with Herald columnist David FitzGerald to conjure up a series of books based on Nelson, a shire horse.
Nelson to the Rescue, the follow-up to debut A Nod from Nelson, sees the hero travelling to London to pull a ceremonial coach for Prince Charles.
Simon was recently awarded a Blue Peter badge after the book impressed the children's TV team.
He will be at signing copies at Plymouth Argyle's Centre Spot store in Drake Circus Shopping Centre all day from 10am on Saturday 23rd January
